Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance across the resort.
  • Diagnosing faults efficiently and implementing safe, practical and cost-effective solutions.
  • Installing, repairing and maintaining a variety of plumbing systems and fixtures.
  • Undertaking general plumbing works including, but not limited to:
    • Radiator and radiator valve replacements
    • Leak detection and repairs
    • Installation and maintenance of sinks, baths and showers
    • Pipework repairs and modifications
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with current regulations and health & safety requirements.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and managers regarding project progress and maintenance requirements.
  • Supporting wider site maintenance activities where required.
  • Occasionally assisting with planned works at Potters Resorts Five Lakes following prior discussion and agreement.

 

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds relevant plumbing qualifications and has proven hands-on experience.
  • Has excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Is self-motivated, reliable and capable of managing their own workload.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team whilst also being confident working independently.
  • Has a flexible and positive approach to work.
  • Understands the importance of health, safety and compliance.
  • Takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards.

 

Hours of Work

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Participation in an emergency call-out rota may be required, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating is essential

A driver’s licence is desirable
