About the Role

Niural is looking for a Graphics Designer to join our Product Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the visual execution of our platform’s user interface. Unlike a marketing role, your focus will be entirely on the product environment - designing custom iconography, illustrations, and high-fidelity UI components that improve clarity and user experience.

You will work with the Product Team to ensure that every feature we ship meets a high standard of visual polish and functional elegance.

Key responsibilities

• Visual Execution: Own the high-fidelity design phase of the product, translating wireframes into polished, production-ready interfaces.

• Custom Asset Creation: Design bespoke icon sets and scalable vector illustrations that simplify complex data and enhance the product’s identity.

• UI Consistency: Contribute to and maintain the Niural Design System, ensuring consistent use of typography, color, and spacing across all modules.

• Motion & Interaction: Design micro-interactions and transitions that provide feedback to users and improve the overall flow of the interface.

• Design Systems: Evolve our component library with a focus on "Visual Delight" - making sure our system isn't just functional, but beautiful.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Frontend Engineers to ensure visual designs are implemented accurately and maintain high quality during the handoff process.

• Brand-Product Hybrid: bridge the gap between our marketing identity and our product UI. You will design everything from core app screens to high-impact landing pages.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a designer who:

• Prioritizes Precision: You have a meticulous eye for detail and understand that 4px of padding can make or break a layout.

• Balances Aesthetics with Utility: You understand that visual design in a product must serve the user's needs, not just look "cool."

• Owns the Process: You are proactive in identifying areas of the product that need visual improvement and take ownership of those updates.

• Communicates Effectively: You can clearly articulate the reasoning behind visual choices to stakeholders and developers.

Requirements

• Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in Graphics Design or UI Design, specifically within a digital product or SaaS environment.

• Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Figma (Auto-layout, Variables, and Component architecture).

• Asset Creation: Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator or similar tools for custom iconography and illustration.

• Motion/Video (Preferred): Experience with After Effects, Lottie, or video editing software to create product animations or demos.

• Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating clean UI work, custom iconography, and a strong grasp of grid systems and typography.

• Implementation Knowledge: A basic understanding of CSS/HTML constraints to ensure designs are technically feasible.
