Internal Audit Data Analyst

We are looking for a new member of our Internal Audit Team at ContiTech in Hungary with a focus on Data Analytics.

The purpose of Internal Audit is to strengthen ContiTech’s ability to create, protect, and sustain value. We achieve this by providing independent, risk-based, and objective assurance and advice to Senior Management as well as the Supervisory Functions.  

As a Data Analyst (m/f/d) in the Internal Audit department you will be part of a team of experts, providing our audit teams with data from different sources using state of the art tools and technologies.
The Data Analyst designs and implements impactful data analyses for ContiTech Internal Audit and a regular reporting to senior management.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop data analyses using state-of-the-art software platforms in conjunction with databases and scripting languages (e.g. SQL, VBA, R or Python).
• Compile data from various data sources such as SAP, AWS services and local applications.
• Collaborate with the internal auditors and deliver the defined data packages for the audit.
• Schedule and automize queries and regular reports.
• Further develop the existing data analytics portfolio by improving existing and creating new content.
• Develop data visualizations to present large sets of data in a comprehensive way.
• Support the digitalization of processes in Internal Audit including IT applications and international projects.
• Connect and exchange with other data analytics expert within ContiTech.
• Administrate the audit management software.
• Participate in up to two audit assignments (e.g. IT audits) per year, i.e., work jointly with the internal auditors, analyze business processes and conduct interviews to provide risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight.

Qualifications

• Academic degree, preferably in Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business Administration with a strong quantitative focus
• First experience in the use of scripting language such as Python, R, SQL or the Databricks Analytics Platform
• Work experience in the area of data science or in an internal audit department or an audit firm is of advantage
• SAP knowledge (especially in FI, CO, MM and SD) is of advantage
• Very good English language skills (written and spoken), further languages are of advantage
• Proficient analytical skills and a structured working style
• Excellent communication skills
• Preparedness to travel internationally (10%)
