Job Description

Do you want to contribute your IFRS expertise in an international environment and actively shape complex accounting issues? Then become part of our Home Comfort Finance team.

  • In this role, you will take professional responsibility for selected IFRS topics with a focus on IAS 12 / income taxes and contribute to ensuring high-quality, compliant, and timely group reporting, including the preparation and analysis of quarterly and annual IFRS group financial statements for the Home Comfort sub-group.
  • You will monitor changes in IFRS accounting, interpret relevant requirements, ensure their consistent implementation, and review and approve material or non-standard journal entries within your area of responsibility.
  • As a central point of contact, you will collaborate with external auditors and internal stakeholders both domestically and internationally and advise the international HC Finance Community on IFRS and accounting-related matters.
  • Furthermore, you will identify improvement potential, drive the further development of reporting and consolidation processes, and support projects in the area of IFRS financial reporting and consolidation.

Qualifications

  • Education: completed degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Business Administration or a comparable field
  • Experience and know-how: 
    • several years of relevant professional experience in IFRS accounting / corporate reporting; very strong knowledge of IFRS standards, ideally with a focus on IAS 12 / deferred taxes
    • experience with consolidation tools such as OneStream, Hyperion Financial Management, SAP BCS or S/4 Group Reporting is an advantage
    • good knowledge of SAP FI and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Personality and working style: analytical thinking and a high quality mindset distinguish you, as does an independent, analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working; additionally, you impress with very strong communication skills in an international environment as well as team spirit, resilience and flexibility; you combine deep expertise with a pragmatic, hands-on approach
  • Languages: business-fluent English, both written and spoken
