Job Description

As an HR Operations Team Leader you will lead a team responsible for delivering high-quality HR administrative services across the entire employee lifecycle within the EMEA region. The successful candidate will ensure operational excellence, process compliance, service quality, and continuous improvement while supporting team development and stakeholder satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and support a team of HR Operations Specialists, ensuring strong performance, engagement, and continuous development
  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations processes (onboarding, employee changes, offboarding) ensuring accuracy and compliance with HR policies, labor law, and GDPR
  • Act as escalation point for complex HR cases and ensure high-quality service delivery in cooperation with Payroll and HR functions
  • Monitor SLAs and KPIs, prepare reports and dashboards for HR leadership, and drive operational performance improvements
  • Support and lead process improvements, HR transformations, system changes, and international transitions/migrations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HRBPs, Payroll, COEs, managers, and other stakeholders across the EMEA region

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 4–6+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, or Shared Services environments
  • Previous experience in team coordination, supervision, or leadership
  • Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and HR compliance (including labor law and GDPR)
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and HR service management tools
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking, reporting, and operational metrics
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic international environment
  • C1 level of English and B2/C1 level in an additional European language (e.g. German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, Italian)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with focus on continuous improvement
