About the Role
A modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Kansas City is looking for a Physical Therapist to join its clinical team. This role is focused on helping patients recover from orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, improve movement, rebuild strength, and return to daily activities with better function.
You will work with a varied patient population, from age 11 to 90, and treat a steady mix of injuries, post-surgical cases, mobility concerns, pain-related limitations, weakness, and functional movement issues. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and experienced PTs will have room to continue growing clinically.

Preferred Schedule Options
Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days, Preferred
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Tuesday off each week
Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Clinic Details
- Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
- Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week
- Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
- EMR System: WebPT
- Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
- Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and identify movement, strength, mobility, and function concerns
- Develop treatment plans based on patient goals, diagnosis, and clinical findings
- Provide care for orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical recovery, and mobility limitations
- Use therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, strengthening, balance training, and functional movement activities
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, recovery expectations, and safe activity progression
- Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans when needed
- Complete accurate clinical documentation in WebPT
- Work with PTAs and other team members to support consistent patient care
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient education skills
- Ability to work with patients across different ages and functional needs
