We're looking for a hands-on Workday Integrations Expert who lives in the integration toolset — EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio — and can turn business requirements into robust, well-documented, secure integrations. You'll work closely with functional analysts, business stakeholders and third-party vendors to design, build, and maintain the integrations that connect Workday to the systems and other systems around it. You'll be the technical owner of the integration layer, from initial design through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in a Workday implementation, from planning and design through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain inbound and outbound integrations using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core/Cloud Connectors, Workday Studio, and Workday Orchestrate

• Develop and maintain web service integrations using Workday Web Services (SOAP), REST APIs, RaaS (Report-as-a-Service), and WQL

• Build document transformations (XSLT/XML/XPath) and calculated fields to format and map data to partner specifications

• Configure and manage integration security: Integration System Users (ISU), Integration System Security Groups (ISSG), x.509 certificates, PGP encryption, and SFTP connectivity

• Monitor scheduled integrations, implement error handling and alerting, and resolve integration failures end to end

• Plan and execute regression testing of integrations across Workday's two annual feature releases, assessing and remediating impact

• Partner with functional teams and external vendors on interface design, file specifications, and connectivity

• Follow data governance, security, and data-privacy standards, with consistent attention to data quality and integrity

• Document integration designs, configurations, and runbooks for support, audit, and knowledge-transfer purposes.

Core Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and supporting Workday integrations

• Strong, demonstrable skills in EIB, Core/Cloud Connectors, Workday Studio and Workday Orchestrate

• Solid experience with XSLT, XML, XPath, web services (SOAP/REST), RaaS, and calculated fields

• Working knowledge of integration security — ISU/ISSG, certificates, PGP encryption, and SFTP

• Familiarity with middleware/iPaaS platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure integration services)

• Experience supporting Workday implementations or major enhancement projects

• Exposure to Workday Financials, Prism Analytics, or Accounting Center data domains

• Workday Pro Integrations certification (or equivalent demonstrable expertise)

• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills, with a methodical approach to debugging

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with technical teams, functional stakeholders, and third parties

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize across planned and unplanned work, and deliver independently with timely follow-up.

This is a two-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs.
