Job Description
- Master Data Maintenance: execute the creation, modification, and archiving of customer, supplier, article master data records, ensuring data is kept up to date and relevant.
- Data Integration and Management: Coordinate data integration across various systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow and consistency.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business units, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements, resolve issues, and implement best practices
- Data Migration and System Upgrades: Play a key role in data migration projects when upgrading or implementing new systems, ensuring a smooth transition of master data.
- Data Analytics and Reporting: Collaborate with data analysts and business intelligence teams to generate insights from master data and support decision-making processes.
- Vendor Management: Work with external data providers (vendors, LSP) to ensure the accuracy and relevance of externally sourced data.
- Data Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and provide guidance to users on how to correctly use and maintain master data.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with a meticulous approach to maintaining accurate and complete master data records
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently with cross-functional teams
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple data-related tasks and meet deadlines
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset to identify data issues, analyze root causes, and implement solutions
- Process-driven approach with a continuous improvement mindset
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP system experience is considered an advantage
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations /Information Systems / Management Information Systems required
- Minimum 2 years of professional work experience
- Leadership experience, including informal leadership, is considered a plus
