We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Coordinator to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and executing a wide variety of events, ranging from corporate conferences and meetings to social gatherings and community events. This role demands exceptional multitasking skills, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events from conception through to completion.
- Develop event budgets and ensure all events are executed within budgetary constraints.
- Research and select venues, suppliers, and vendors to secure optimal arrangements and pricing.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, venues, and vendors to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
- Coordinate logistics including transportation, accommodation, catering, and on-site management.
- Work closely with marketing and communications teams to promote events and increase attendance.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role in event planning.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and event management software.
