Job Description
This is a senior design and delivery role with real weight behind it. You'll be leading architectural design across complex, high-profile projects — shaping how buildings look, how they function, and how they connect to the cities and communities around them.
You'll be the design lead on your projects, taking ownership from early concept through to technical delivery. You'll work directly with clients, manage design teams, coordinate across disciplines and make decisions that matter. This isn't a role where you're waiting to be told what to do — it's one where you're expected to set the standard and bring others with you.
As part of a growing studio you'll also play a broader role — mentoring junior team members, contributing to design culture, and helping shape the way the practice works in Australia. There is clear scope to grow into a principal or associate position as the studio develops.
Qualifications
- Leading architectural design on major projects across all stages — from concept and planning through to technical documentation and delivery
- Acting as the primary design lead, maintaining design intent and quality throughout
- Managing client relationships day to day — presenting proposals, running workshops and navigating feedback with clarity and confidence
- Coordinating with engineers, planners, transport authorities and specialist consultants to resolve complex technical and design challenges
- Leading and mentoring a team of architects and graduates, setting clear expectations and supporting their development
- Contributing to design reviews, quality assurance processes and approval pathways
- Supporting business development activity, including bid preparation, presentations and client relationship building
- Playing an active role in studio life — contributing to knowledge sharing, design culture and the broader WW+P community
