Aviation Superintendant

We are seeking a proactive, detail-Aviation Superintendent to join our team is responsible for the Supervision of various Assala Gabon aviation services facilities, including airports and Jet A-1 refueling facility. Supervision of aviation operations, including Assala/Contractor’s aviation staff Deputy for HOA during absences

This position covers to support provision and management of safe and cost-effective aviation services, which meet the needs of Assala Gabon and comply with National, International and Assala Energy aviation requirements and to strive for continual improvement in all areas.

Key responsabilities

·       Ensure that all aviation services to Assala Gabon are provided with risks contained to ALARP.

·       Assist in monitoring of HSSE-MS of aviation department and aviation contractor operations. 

·       Support the provision of aviation services within the annual budget approved by Assala Gabon

·       Provision of approved aviation services to meet the needs of Assala Gabon

·       Supervise follow up action items from all HSSE audits and inspections.

·       Provide aviation input for HOA budget, safe plan, business plan and internal audit plan.

·       Ensure comprehensive monitoring and recording systems are in place.

·       Perform appropriate HSE Critical tasks

·       Maintain contact with Government bodies concerned with the operation of aircraft in Gabon.

·       Maintain aviation standards, for all Assala Gabon flight activities, that meet the latest requirements of Assala Aircraft.

Requirements

• At least 8 years’ experience in the aviation industry.
• Knowledge of EP HSSE standards and safety systems and HSSE-MS as applicable to aviation.
• Knowledge of required Assala Aircraft international aviation standards.
• Knowledge of required airport operating requirement and standards.
• Knowledge of all international and local; aviation standards, practices and regulations, for the operation and maintenance of aircraft
• Awareness of ISO 9001 requirements.
• Negotiating skills, interpersonal skills and personnel supervision
• Commercial awareness and experience of budget control is an advantage
• Good communication skills – verbal and written
• Computer literacy including SAP competence.
