Location: Hanover, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Overtime: Additional hours and occasional Saturdays as needed
Pay: Starting at $24.00/hour+ based on experience and skill level

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Custom Metal Fabricator & TIG Welder to support the production of fabricated metal assemblies and custom railing systems. This role combines layout, fitting, fabrication, assembly, and TIG welding responsibilities in a manufacturing environment focused on quality craftsmanship.

The ideal candidate has experience working with aluminum and stainless steel, can read fabrication drawings, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality finished products.

### Key Responsibilities

Fabrication & Layout

• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and production specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, and prepare materials for assembly and welding.
• Fit and assemble metal components using fixtures, clamps, jigs, and layout tools.
• Verify dimensions and alignment prior to final welding.
• Resolve fit-up and fabrication issues to ensure quality and efficiency.

TIG Welding

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and similar materials.
• Produce welds that meet appearance and structural requirements.
• Inspect completed welds and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the fabrication process.

Equipment & Material Handling

• Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, notchers, and other metalworking tools.
• Move materials and completed assemblies using forklifts, pallet jacks, and lifting equipment when required.
• Perform routine care and maintenance of tools and equipment.

Production & Safety

• Follow work instructions, drawings, and established fabrication procedures.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining workmanship standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area.
• Adapt to changing production priorities and workload demands.

### Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Demonstrated TIG welding experience with aluminum and stainless steel materials.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and dimensional specifications.

Experience using tape measures, layout tools, and precision measuring instruments.

Working knowledge of fabrication math, including measurements, fractions, and basic geometry.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication, fit-up, and welding issues independently.

Experience operating fabrication machinery and metalworking equipment.

Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekend hours when needed.
