At BlueCat, we take immense pride in our award-winning culture, an integral part of our identity. By becoming a part of our team, you not only join a company at the forefront of technology but also become an integral member of Canada's top workplaces in various categories, including Technology, Today's Youth and Women, and Mental Health and Inclusion.

BlueCat is looking for a strategic, execution-driven Principal Product Manager to lead innovation within Integrity, our flagship enterprise DDI platform (DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management).

Integrity is the authoritative control plane for network infrastructure—providing a single source of truth for IP space, while enabling automation, observability, and control across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. Built on a modern, API-first architecture, Integrity is evolving into a unified platform that integrates DDI, analytics, network discovery, cloud visibility, and event-driven automation.

This role is central to driving that evolution.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will own strategy and delivery for key areas of the Integrity platform—defining roadmap, shaping capabilities, and working cross-functionally to deliver solutions that address the real operational challenges of managing critical network infrastructure at scale.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Define and drive product strategy for core and adjacent capabilities within the Integrity platform (e.g., DNS/DHCP services, IPAM, analytics, discovery, automation)
  • Develop a clear product vision aligned to BlueCat’s platform strategy, including API-first design, embedded analytics, and integrated workflows
  • Engage directly with enterprise customers and partners to understand real-world DDI operational challenges, including scale, resiliency, automation, and visibility
  • Translate customer and market needs into well-defined product requirements, use cases, and value propositions
  • Partner closely with engineering to prioritise and deliver high-quality, scalable features, balancing innovation with reliability in mission-critical infrastructure
  • Own and drive end-to-end feature lifecycle:Problem definition and opportunity sizing
  • Story mapping and backlog prioritisation
  • Writing detailed requirements with clear acceptance criteria
  • Supporting development through implementation and delivery
  • Ensure technical accuracy and depth across features, APIs, and user workflows
  • Contribute to the evolution of Integrity as a unified platform, integrating capabilities such as:
  1. Network & Cloud Discovery
  2. DDI Analytics & Observability
  3. Event-driven automation (Event Bus)

Work cross-functionally with Sales, Support, and Marketing to:

  • Enable pre-sales and go-to-market readiness
  • Communicate product capabilities and value clearly
  • Support strategic deals and customer engagements
  • Represent Integrity in internal planning, roadmap discussions, and executive reviews

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in Product Management, ideally within enterprise infrastructure, networking, or platform software
  • Strong understanding of DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) concepts and their role in modern network architecture
  • Experience building or managing API-first or platform-based products
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels—from defining vision to driving delivery
  • Strong technical fluency, with the ability to engage deeply with engineering teams and understand system design trade-offs
  • Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure models is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with observability, telemetry (e.g., Prometheus), or event-driven architectures is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Customer-centric mindset, with experience in customer-facing roles or direct engagement with enterprise users

Why This Role Matters

Integrity underpins critical network services that businesses cannot operate without. DNS and DHCP failures are not inconveniences—they are outages.

This role is about building a platform that delivers:

Deterministic, reliable infrastructure control
Deep operational visibility and foresight
Seamless automation across hybrid environments

You will play a key role in shaping the future of BlueCat’s platform as it evolves from a DDI solution into a comprehensive network infrastructure intelligence and control plane.
