About the Role

The Market Leader, Sales- Life Sciences will be responsible for leading and scaling Innovaccer’s Life Sciences business. This role owns the end-to-end success of the Life Sciences vertical, including strategic planning, business development, product strategy and roadmap influence, and operational execution to drive sustained growth.

The primary responsibility of this role is to accelerate Innovaccer’s Life Sciences business across pharma, biotech, and medical device organizations. The Market Leader will work closely with Innovaccer’s senior product and technology leadership to shape market-aligned solutions and strengthen Innovaccer’s position in the Life Sciences ecosystem.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in the Life Sciences industry, a strong understanding of healthcare and data/AI-driven platforms, and a proven track record in leadership and business management.

A Day in the Life

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Define and execute the overall strategy for Innovaccer’s Life Sciences business, aligned with company vision, goals, and growth objectives.
    • Identify growth opportunities across the Life Sciences market, including expansion of existing solutions and development of new products, services, and partnerships.
    • Lead the creation and execution of business plans that drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability within the Life Sciences vertical.
  • Business Development:
    • Build and maintain executive relationships with key Life Sciences stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, CROs, and medical device organizations.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and alliances, to expand Innovaccer’s Life Sciences footprint.
    • Lead complex negotiations and commercial discussions with strategic clients and partners.
    • Innovaccer’s Life Sciences sales organization will report directly to the Market Leader role
  • Product and Solution Portfolio:
    • Bring a strong point of view on customer needs, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GxP) to inform product strategy and differentiation.
    • Jointly define product direction and business plans for Life Sciences-focused solutions, ensuring alignment with market demand and compliance requirements.
    • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to ensure successful launch, adoption, and scaling of Life Sciences solutions.
  • GTM Operations and Channel Strategy;
    • Own OKRs and financial metrics (CARR, NPV + CARR) for the Life Sciences business.
    • Oversee GTM planning, resource allocation, and performance management.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Life Sciences team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on business performance and progress.
    • Engage and grow C-level relationships across Life Sciences clients and partners.
    • Leverage strategic partnerships to drive new client acquisition and expand client value delivery

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10–15+ years of experience in Life Sciences, healthcare technology, or related industries, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of driving growth, building vertical-focused strategies, and leading large, complex business units.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and executing GTM strategies at scale.
  • Strong understanding of the Life Sciences ecosystem, including pharma, biotech, clinical research, and regulatory environments.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive presence, with the ability to influence across stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and develop a strong culture of growth
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
