What You’ll Receive

  • £13.50 an hour
  • Double time on bank holidays
  • 30p mileage between clients
  • 12–16 hours to start (more as the rota grows)

Your Availability

We’re looking for people who can work:

  • Between 7am–2.30pm and 3.45pm to 9.45pm shifts
  • up to 16 hours a week 
  • Alternate weekends (essential for this role)
  • Some flexibility to support client continuity

How You’ll Make a Difference

Our clients rely on us for stability, respect, and genuine human connection. Your visits may include:

  • Companionship and meaningful conversation
  • Personal care (washing, dressing, bathing)
  • Light household tasks
  • Medication prompts
  • Meal preparation
  • Attending appointments or shopping

Who We’re Looking For

You do not need care experience.

Values matter far more.

You might be ideal if you are:

  • Kind, patient and reliable
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Able to use good judgement in day‑to‑day situations
  • Honest about your availability
  • Motivated to make a real difference
  • A driver with access to your own car

Important Travel Information

Our clients live across Castleford, Selby, and Goole.

We are upfront about travel so there are no surprises later.

This role is not restricted to one neighbourhood, and some days involve driving between villages. We cluster calls where possible, but flexibility is important.

If you prefer to work only in one tight area, this position won’t be the right fit.
