.NET Developer (m/w/d)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer who enjoys solving complex problems, building high‑quality software, and contributing to a collaborative engineering culture. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean architecture, modern .NET development, and delivering impactful solutions in a critical business environment.

You will be working within a team responsible for maintaining systems that manage access to and interactions with external grid and market stakeholders. These solutions rely on complex data flows and integrations, ensuring the reliability and continuity of essential market operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET / .NET Core
• Build scalable backend services and APIs
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (business, development, infrastructure)
• Participate in code reviews and help raise engineering standards
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps
• Provide business support and application monitoring (level 2 support, incident resolution, troubleshooting)

Qualifications

• Experience with C# and .NET Core ( 2 - 5 years) 
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, Entity Framework Core, and SQL
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
• Strong testing mindset: unit tests, integration tests, production validation
• Familiarity with agile development practices
• Focus on quality, performance, and maintainability
• Experience with a message broker (e.g. Azure Service Bus or RabbitMQ)
• Fluency in English & French Or Dutch
