Job Description

Project – the aim you’ll have

The project is for a client in the real estate sector. This initiative focuses on a comprehensive replatforming and cloud migration journey, where you will lead the transition of subsidiary services from on-premises infrastructure to a modern, AWS-integrated environment.

Position – how you’ll contribute

• Ensure stable, secure, and highly available IT operations
• Build and lead a DevOps team
• Manage and continuously improve existing infrastructure (hands on experiance with public or private cloud is a plus)
• Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Drive improvements in monitoring, alerting, and incident management
• Support and guide cloud migration activities
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve release quality and speed

Qualifications

Expectations – the experience you need

• Proven experience in leadership roles, including managing and mentoring technical teams
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux, on-premises infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation
• Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and other modern DevOps/IaC tools
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident management, and infrastructure security best practices
• Practical experience with cloud environments and supporting cloud migration initiatives (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
• Languages: English and German
