Electrical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Electrical Technician to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment while ensuring compliance with all safety standards and local electrical codes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, efficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical issues, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and safety.

• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and systems in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using testing equipment such as multimeters and circuit testers
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
• Analyze circuit diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation to understand system requirements and identify potential issues
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components, wiring, and equipment with precision and efficiency
• Conduct electrical testing and inspections to verify system functionality and compliance with safety standards
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work schedules and ensure project completion
• Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
• Stay current with electrical codes, industry standards, and best practices relevant to the UAE market

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, installation, or repair work
• Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, circuit testers)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring practices
• Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards applicable in the United Arab Emirates
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Competency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Valid electrical certification or license (preferred, depending on UAE requirements)
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and equipment care
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to health and safety regulations
