Transaction Banking Business Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and commercially oriented professional to join our Transaction Banking team as a Transaction Banking Business Specialist, supporting the SME Sales segment. The role focuses on identifying business opportunities, supporting customer acquisition and portfolio growth, and acting as a trusted partner to Relationship Managers and clients by delivering tailored Transaction Banking solutions that address working capital, payments and liquidity management needs.
Responsibilities
• Estimate customers’ wallet size and develop revenue targets, contributing to the achievement of the business plan and growth objectives of the SME segment.
• Identify sales opportunities across Transaction Banking products and solutions and support the development of customer pipelines.
• Track sales activities and monitor customer and segment performance, assessing their impact on revenues and business growth.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and customers to understand working capital and transaction needs and propose tailored cash management and payment solutions.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals for Transaction Banking products and support the sales process from opportunity identification to execution.
• Initiate and participate in customer meetings, acting as a trusted advisor and promoting the value proposition of specialized Transaction Banking solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations and Technology teams to ensure effective implementation and delivery of solutions and a seamless customer experience.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to product development teams, contributing to the enhancement of existing solutions and the development of new offerings.
• Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activities and developments in the payments and transaction banking landscape.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
· A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline will be considered an asset.
· At least 3-5 years of experience in Transaction Banking, Corporate Banking, Cash Management or a related business area.
·Good understanding of transaction banking products, corporate liquidity management and payment solutions.
· Strong analytical skills and ability to assess business opportunities and customer profitability.
· Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with customers and internal partners.
·Customer-centric mindset with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
