Enablement Systems & Automation Specialist

Job Description
At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
The Go-To-Market Enablement (GTME) team empowers our customer-facing teams through world-class enablement experiences and infrastructure. This role sits within Enablement Tech Operations, a function of the GTME Centre of Excellence, and is critical to the operational delivery and performance insights of our global learning programs.
About the Role:
We are looking for an Enablement Systems & Automation Specialist who thinks in systems, builds with intention, and can navigate the organisational complexity of a large enterprise to turn ideas into operational reality. This is a role with genuine scope and real visibility — one where you will have the opportunity to shape how enablement technology scales across a global GTM organisation.
This is not a Learning Management System (LMS) administration role. It is a technical building role — one that treats enablement platforms as parts of a connected operating system and focuses on identifying manual, repeatable work and engineering solutions that eliminate it. The primary focus is automation and integration: from automating the learner experience through curriculum and event management workflows, to expanding proven frameworks and driving operational efficiency across the enablement ecosystem.
Equally important is the ability to navigate enterprise complexity. Success in this role requires strong influencing skills to move initiatives through internal governance, access approvals, and policy holder requirements — often without direct authority over the teams involved.
ETOps is a function that values craft, rigour, and momentum. If you are a learning and development technologist who wants to build things that matter and leave a real mark on how a world-class enablement organisation operates, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
Automation & Systems Building
- Design, build, and maintain automations, integrations, and AI-driven workflows that reduce manual effort and scale enablement operations
- Automate the learner experience through curriculum and event management workflows, reducing manual effort and improving consistency across lines of business
- Identify high-impact opportunities for process elimination, not just process improvement
- Evaluate and operationalise AI tools that improve how ETOps and the broader enablement function works
Stakeholder & Governance Navigation
- Partner with Information Security, IT, engineering, and system owners to secure access, approvals, and technical support for initiatives
- Navigate governance requirements and organisational processes to move complex, cross-functional work forward
- Influence stakeholders and maintain momentum in environments with competing priorities
- Persist through ambiguity and structural complexity to deliver business outcomes
Platform Operations & Reporting
- Support the configuration, governance, and integrity of learning technology and enablement tools across the stack
- Contribute to reporting infrastructure and data flows that surface enablement performance insights for stakeholders and leadership
- Build and maintain technical documentation, system governance standards, and knowledge resources
- Scale and socialise best practices across multiple workstreams and global stakeholders
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a learning and development technologist, enablement technology specialist, or in a related learning operations or systems role
- Demonstrated experience building automations or integrations using tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, APIs, or equivalent
- Experience working with learning technology and enablement tools, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), and comparable enterprise platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience implementing, developing, and scaling automations through learning technology and enablement platforms
- Familiarity with AI tooling, prompt engineering, or agentic workflows
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and deliver outcomes without direct authority
- Experience navigating security, governance, and access approval processes in a large enterprise environment
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving progress with limited oversight
- Experience supporting large-scale enablement or sales performance programs
Suggested Skills
- Workflow Automation
- Systems Integration
- Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- AI Tool Adoption & Operationalisation
- Stakeholder Management & Influence
- Data Analysis & Reporting
