📌 SAP ABAP Consultant

Forget endless maintenance developments. We are not looking for simple developers, but architects of change. The SAP ABAP Consultant designs and develops technical solutions connecting the robust core of SAP S/4HANA with the agility of the cloud (SAP BTP). You will start on classic ABAP projects and quickly grow into the latest SAP innovations: S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, ABAP RAP, SAP BTP. If CAPM, RAP, Fiori, and Clean ABAP mean something to you, then we are talking about you.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust technical solutions in ABAP (classic and object-oriented).
• Contribute to SAP ECC and S/4HANA implementation, migration, and support projects.
• Write technical specifications based on functional requirements.
• Develop and integrate dynamic objects: BAdI, BAPI, User Exit, IDoc, OData, SmartForms.
• Perform unit tests and ensure code quality following Clean ABAP principles.
• Progressively evolve towards CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA Native development.
• Grow into Fiori / UI5 development and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Contribute to SAP BTP and ABAP Cloud deployments via ADT (Eclipse).

Qualifications

🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Minimum 5 years of ABAP development experience, with at least one significant project (ECC or S/4HANA).
• Strong command of classic and object-oriented ABAP, SmartForms, BAPI, BAdI, User Exit.
• Experience with interfaces: RFC, IDoc, OData, Web Services.
• Proficiency with the Eclipse development environment (ADT).
• Nice to have: Fiori/UI5, RAP, CDS Views, SAP BTP, experience with S/4HANA or HANA environments, functional knowledge of FI, CO, MM, SD.
• Fluent professional English required.
• French is not mandatory but is a real asset and will be highly valued, both for client interactions and for daily life in Mauritius.

✈️ Relocation requirements

• Willingness to relocate to Mauritius within approximately 3-6 months.
• Valid passport.
