JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Content Strategy Manager is a strategic, high-impact individual contributor responsible for defining what Woolpert says, how it says it, and how content connects to business growth. This role leads the development and execution of an enterprise content strategy that strengthens market narrative, elevates executive visibility, and supports industry go-to-market (GTM) priorities. 

This position translates Woolpert’s technical expertise, client impact, and insights into compelling thought leadership and strategic content that drives brand authority and engagement. As part of Corporate Communications, the Senior Content Strategy Manager partners closely with Subject Matter Experts, Industry Marketing, Product Marketing, Digital, and regional teams to ensure content is aligned, differentiated, and effectively leveraged across channels.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Content Strategy & Planning 
  • Develop and own enterprise content strategy aligned to business priorities and industry GTM plans 
  • Define and operationalize core thought leadership themes across Woolpert’s markets 
  • Establish content priorities, governance, and planning processes 
  • Ensure alignment of content across regions, industries, and channels 
  • Translate technical expertise into clear, differentiated insights 
  • Partner with SMEs and leaders to shape narratives 
  • Executive Communication
  • Support executive positioning and visibility strategies
  • Develop key messages and narratives for leadership
  • Lead executive thought leadership content 
  • Content Integration Across Marketing 
  • Align content with GTM strategies and campaigns 
  • Ensure consistent positioning and messaging
  • Align thought leadership to key engagements 
  • Leverage content across digital, social, PR, and sales enablement channels 
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Content Performance 
  • Partner to support SEO-driven strategy and performance tracking
  • Monitor engagement and refine strategy 
  • Improve content impact and effectiveness

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: (some option(s) provided below)

  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years in content strategy, marketing, or communications 
    Experience with enterprise content strategy and executive thought leadership 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Expertise in content strategy and storytelling 
  • Strong writing and executive communication skills 
  • Ability to translate technical content into clear, compelling, customer-focused narratives
  • Understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and messaging frameworks
  • Experience developing thought leadership and value-driven content
  • SEO and digital content optimization understanding  
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Strong project management 

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

  • Master’s degree in related field 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • AEC or professional services 
  • Global marketing experience 

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, OR TRAINING: (if applicable)

  • Content or digital marketing certifications 

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Marketing analytics familiarity
  • GTM and demand generation knowledge

$101,200$126,500 USD
