Job Description

Join our team in a pivotal role focused on strengthening and optimising our provider network to support sustainable business growth. As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a key part in ensuring our network remains competitive, commercially sound, and aligned with strategic objectives by leveraging data insights, improving pricing frameworks, and enhancing provider engagement. This role offers the opportunity to influence decision-making, drive efficiencies, and support innovation across provider performance, pricing, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify gaps across the provider network (geography, capability, pricing, and demand) using data-driven insights and support targeted provider recruitment strategies
  • Assist in provider price setting and maintain contracted rates and commercial terms in line with defined frameworks and benchmarks
  • Monitor provider costs, utilisation, and performance through reporting tools (e.g. Power BI), ensuring alignment with commercial and service expectations
  • Identify cost inefficiencies and optimisation opportunities, supporting tenders and improving pricing consistency across the network
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, maintain accurate provider data, manage commercial risks, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

What we are looking for is a:

  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Economics, Health Management or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in provider management, commercial analysis, pricing, or network optimisation (desirable)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret cost, utilisation, and performance data
  • Experience supporting pricing frameworks, tenders, or commercial negotiations (desirable)
  • High level of stakeholder engagement and relationship management capability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
