Solution Architect - Building X (m/f/d)

Job Description

As part of the global partnership between Siemens and Nagarro, we are seeking an experienced Solution Architect for Building X to drive our business in Germany. This role goes beyond traditional pre-sales and focuses on end-to-end solution architecture across the Building X platform. You will design and shape digital solutions for smart buildings, covering domains such as energy, operations, sustainability, security, and Lifecycle Twin. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in smart buildings, IT/OT integration, and digital platforms, with the ability to translate complex client requirements into scalable, future-proof architectures.

• Design holistic architectures based on Building X, including integration of BMS, IoT platforms, cloud services, and third-party systems.
• Advise clients at both technical and executive levels, clearly articulating the value of Building X and shaping solution strategies.
• Identify and develop high-impact use cases such as energy optimization, ESG/Net Zero, facility operations, Lifecycle Twin, and predictive maintenance.
• Define integration strategies between Building X, building systems (e.g., BMS, HVAC), and enterprise IT systems (e.g., ERP, CAFM, IoT platforms).
• Lead customer workshops, demos, and architecture discussions.
• Work closely with Siemens and the broader partner ecosystem to deliver scalable and standardized solutions.
• Stay up to date with trends in smart buildings, IoT, sustainability, and digital transformation.
• Support the development of a partner ecosystem and scaling of Building X across industries such as pharma, public, and healthcare. 

Qualifications

• Experience in smart building technologies (BMS, IoT, building automation)
• Strong understanding of cloud architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Experience with IT/OT integration - Digital Platforms / Building X
• Experience with digital platforms or digital twin concepts (e.g., Lifecycle Twin) is a plus
• Proven ability to design scalable, complex system architectures
• Experience in client-facing consulting (pre-sales or delivery)
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent German & Professional proficiency in English
