Position Summary

The Bookkeeper supports day-to-day accounting functions for multiple clients. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in managing accounting tasks, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency while contributing to a growing, dynamic team. This is an in-office role.

What you will do

  • Record daily financial transactions for multiple clients
  • Maintain general ledger accuracy
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Perform bank and credit card and GL account reconciliations
  • Organize and maintain client accounting records
  • Assist with month-end close activities
  • Communicate with clients to obtain missing documentation

Requirements

What we need from you

  • Post Secondary Education in accounting, finance or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2-4 years of bookkeeping / accounting experience
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with month end closing
