Wilco Contractors Northwest Inc., a leader in park construction, sport facilities, environmental, landscape, and civil earthworks, is currently seeking a Dispatch Manager and Client Support professional to join our team. This pivotal role requires a proactive individual to oversee and coordinate dispatch operations while providing excellent client support to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

As Dispatch Manager and Client Support, you will be responsible for managing the daily dispatch activities, coordinating with field staff, and ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients. Your role will contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction through responsive support and solution-oriented problem-solving.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and experience in dispatching or client services within the construction or related industries. This position is based at our Head Office in Edmonton, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all dispatch activities to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with field teams to ensure timely execution of projects and services.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports related to dispatch and client interactions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in scheduling and logistics to support project timelines and client requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in dispatch management, client support, or similar roles, preferably within construction or related industries.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Customer service oriented with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency with dispatching software and MS Office suite.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Valid driver’s license is an asset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, logistics, or related field is preferred.
