Responsibilities
Daily Care Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing and personal hygiene
- Grooming and dressing
- Mobility assistance and transfers
- Provide non-skilled personal and skin care support
- Prepare meals and assist with nutrition needs
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe home environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Offer medication reminders
- Assist with ambulation and mobility as needed
Client Support & Relationship Building
- Develop meaningful and trusting relationships with assigned clients
- Deliver reliable, consistent care that promotes independence and dignity
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and office staff
- Maintain professional caregiving standards at all times
Requirements
Must Have
- Active Illinois CNA Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable, insured vehicle
- Ability to stand, pivot, and safely assist clients with transfers
- Dependable attendance and professional approach to client care
Nice to Have
- Previous home care experience
- Experience working with seniors in a one-on-one setting
- Training or experience in:
- Dementia Care
- Parkinson's Care
- Hospice Care
