VBA Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Role requirement: We are looking for a highly skilled VBA Developer with 3-6 years of strong expertise in Advanced Excel automation, VBA scripting, Selenium-based web automation, and code analysis

Responsibility: The candidate will be responsible for developing, analyzing, debugging, and enhancing complex Excel-based automation solutions, including reverse engineering existing macro-driven applications and identifying opportunities for optimization and stability improvements.

Technical Requirements:

Must Have Skills

1. Strong expertise in Advanced Microsoft Excel - Complex formulas, Power Query, Data transformation and reporting automation
2. Strong experience in VBA Development on Microsoft Products - Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook
3. Modular programming
4. Event-driven programming
5. File handling
6. Error handling
7. Performance optimization
8. Strong capability in Code Analysis & Reverse Engineering
9. Strong Debugging & Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills
10. Experience in Web Scraping using VBA
11. Hands-on experience with Selenium-based VBA Automation - Browser automation, Web element identification, Dynamic waits / synchronization, Handling pop-ups and dynamic web content

Good to Have Skills:

1. Experience with external VBA libraries and plugins
2. Understanding of browser and driver configuration
3. Knowledge of API integrations through VBA
4. Exposure to process automation / RPA concepts
5. Experience in performance tuning of large macro-based solutions

Total Experience Expected: 02-04 years
