Junior Geotechnical Engineer (UAE National Only)

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated UAE National Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of our flagship projects in Dubai. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a young engineering professional to gain hands-on experience in geotechnical design, soil and rock analysis, field investigations, and site coordination within a leading multinational organization. The Junior Geotechnical Engineer will play an important role in ensuring safe, high-quality, and code-compliant foundation and ground engineering solutions across complex developments that contribute to the UAE’s growing infrastructure and urban landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical design for foundations, retaining structures, and slope stability, using both hand calculations and geotechnical software under supervision of Senior Engineers
• Perform analysis of geotechnical data and interpretation of soil and rock parameters.
• Participate in supervision of field and laboratory works to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Participate in site visits during the construction phase to monitor groundworks, assess geotechnical conditions, and ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.
• Ensure geotechnical designs comply with applicable standards in the Middle East (e.g., Eurocode, AASHTO, BS, ASTM) and project specifications.
• Ensure geotechnical designs prioritize safety and comply with HSE standards.
• Develop R&D initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of design practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Civil Engineering (preferable Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering)
• Knowledge of international codes and local regulations
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Geotechnical software
