Commissioning Manager - Data Centre

Job Description

The purpose of the Commissioning Manager position is to plan, lead, and manage all commissioning activities to ensure that systems, equipment, and facilities are installed, tested, and operated safely, reliably, and in full compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.

This role provides critical contribution by bridging Engineering, Construction, and Operations, ensuring a smooth transition from project execution to operational readiness, minimizing technical risks, delays, and rework, and ultimately supporting timely project handover and operational excellence.

Early involvement at this stage is required to support systemization, commissioning planning, constructability and operability reviews, interface management, and risk mitigation activities, ensuring commissioning readiness and alignment with the project schedule.

• Plan and manage commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders
• Lead system testing and performance validation
• Manage commissioning resources and contractors
• Identify and mitigate commissioning risks
• Support handover and operational readiness

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Commissioning Manager or Commissioning Lead on DATA CENTER projects.
• Significant exposure to pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Proven experience leading commissioning teams on large-scale industrial, oil & gas, power, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning methodologies, systemization, turnover processes, and handover to operations.
• Solid understanding of HSSE requirements, risk assessments, and safe work practices during commissioning and start-up.
