Job Description
What You’ll Do as an Environmental Sustainability Coordinator
We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:
- Support the coordination and delivery of Primark’s Biodiversity, Chemistry and Water Stewardship programmes across internal teams, supply chain partners and external stakeholders.
- Assist in programme strategy execution, including implementation of initiatives, standard operating procedures and integration into business operations.
- Monitor supplier and facility performance, analyse data (e.g. MRSL conformity, chemical inventories) and support reporting against environmental sustainability KPIs.
- Coordinate training, communications and corrective action processes to ensure compliance with chemical, water and wastewater standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, Environmental Managers and external partners to drive programme alignment, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Support stakeholder engagement, programme reporting, data management and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful delivery of sustainability objectives.

What You’ll Bring

- Basic understanding of environmental sustainability programmes, including biodiversity, chemical management, and water stewardship, within a commercial retail environment.
- Strong organisational, communication, analytical and reporting skills, with proven project coordination experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and take a flexible, solutions-focused approach.
- Confident in engaging and collaborating with multiple internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
- A proactive, results-driven self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to support programme delivery in a fast-paced environment.
