Engineer, Mobile Application Development

Work location: The Vertical Business Suite, Bangsar South., Malaysia

Working time: Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, work at the office 100%

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile applications for both smartphones and tablets, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices.
• Build high-performance, reliable, and scalable applications by applying best practices in mobile architecture, state management, networking, caching, and offline support.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features that align with business objectives.
• Integrate analytics and monitoring solutions to measure user behaviour, application performance, and key business metrics.
• Own the end-to-end application release process, including build, testing, deployment, and publication to app stores.
• Ensure software quality through Test-Driven Development (TDD), automated testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement of engineering standards.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in mobile or full-stack application development
• Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart
• Hands-on experience with Firebase services such as:
• Authentication
• Firestore / Realtime Database
• Cloud Functions
• Firebase Messaging
• Analytics / Crashlytics
• Experience integrating AI tools into applications
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and clean architecture
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications on:
• Apple App Store
• Google Play Store
• Strong awareness of:
• Mobile application security
• Data privacy
• Secure authentication
• Strong focus on user experience (UX) and user-friendly design principles
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows
