Job Description
We are seeking a Human Resources Co-op Student to join our growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a student to collaborate with our supportive and knowledgeable team of Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Strategic Partnerships, Labour Relations, Talent Development, and HR Systems professionals. Gain exposure to a variety of HR disciplines while contributing to our mission of achieving a more secure world through innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing
Depending on business needs and your interests, you’ll support and gain exposure in areas such as:
- Talent Acquisition – assisting with job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and employer branding initiatives
- Total Rewards – supporting compensation and benefits administration, and research
- HR Data, Analytics & Reporting – helping prepare reports, dashboards, and insights that inform decision-making
- HR Administration – supporting employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, documentation, and HR systems
- Projects & Initiatives – contributing to a variety of people-related projects, process improvements, and special initiatives across the HR team

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled full-time in a postsecondary co-op program in Business Administration, Commerce, or equivalent
- Enthusiastic contributor with strong interest in Human Resources
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
This position is open for a 4-month, 8-month, or a 12-month term beginning September 2026, with a preference for an 8- or 12-month term. Please indicate your availability in your application.
It is a requirement that General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada be registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods program and that all of its workforce be security assessed. Successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements, including but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance. Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data, classified areas or information that is subject to international regulations. You must be eligible to work in Canada.

Compensation
The expected hourly rate for this position is $21.66 – $27.08. Final compensation will be determined based on your relevant work experience to date. As part of student placement, you will be eligible for quarterly pay increases.
