Platform Engineer

Job Description

The Role

As a platform Engineer, you will bridge the gap between software development and infrastructure system operations to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our engineering platforms.

This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you will focus on building out our infrastructure, refining CI/CD pipelines, and establishing robust monitoring systems to support our fast-paced deployments.

You will play a crucial part in optimizing our databases and supporting our modern event-driven architecture, enabling our engineering teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently and securely.

Additionally, we are in the early stages of an exciting journey to build MLOps and agentic infrastructures. This role presents an excellent opportunity to learn and actively participate in building and scaling production-level AI infrastructure and agents.

Qualifications

This Person Is Someone With…

• Strong software development background, with at least 3years of experience in hybrid Software Engineering and DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React, alongside a strong familiarity with modern event-driven microservice architectures.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines and creating comprehensive infrastructure monitoring systems.
• Hands-on experience in Docker. Kubernetes management experience is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in database performance monitoring and optimizations, specifically with hands-on expertise in MongoDB and Postgres cluster management query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure as an excellent add-on.
• An eagerness to learn MLOps principles and a strong desire to help build out new production-level AI infrastructures.
