Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of creating, managing, and continuously improving schedules across the service
  • Ensure efficient allocation of Care Professionals to meet client needs
  • Proactively manage changes, cancellations, and service demands
  • Plan ahead to anticipate capacity gaps and work with recruitment to address them
  • Maintain continuity and consistency of care wherever possible
  • Monitor scheduling performance, analyse operational data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Use operational data and reporting to support effective decision making and future planning
  • Act as a central point of coordination between teams
  • Support the business in balancing client demand with staff availability
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the scheduling system
  • Contribute to improving processes as the business continues to grow

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience managing complex schedules in a fast-paced environment such as care, logistics, transport, workforce planning, or operations
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use information and data to solve problems and support decision making
  • Confidence in making decisions, taking ownership and balancing competing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
  • Comfortable working with systems, data, and scheduling software
