Physical Therapist | Full-Time Orthopedic Clinic Opening

About the Clinic

This modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Grain Valley, MO provides physical therapy services for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. The clinic sees patients from age 11 to 90, creating a well-rounded caseload with a mix of injury recovery, mobility concerns, pain-related limitations, strength deficits, balance needs, and return-to-activity goals.

The clinic has a clinical team of 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants, with documentation completed through WebPT. Weekly clinic volume is approximately 160–190 patient visits, and daily patient volume averages 7–15 patients per provider.

The Role

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, creating individualized treatment plans, providing skilled interventions, educating patients, tracking progress, and working closely with the clinical team to support high-quality outpatient care.

This is a full-time opportunity with competitive compensation, schedule flexibility, and professional development potential.

Pay Structure

  • New Graduate PT: $65,000–$70,000 per year
  • Experienced PT: $80,000–$90,000 per year, based on years of experience

Work Schedule Options

The clinic offers flexibility and strongly prefers one of the following:

Four 10-Hour Days Preferred

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Tuesday off each week

Monday–Friday Schedule

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient evaluations and reassessments
  • Identify functional limitations, mobility deficits, strength concerns, pain levels, and therapy goals
  • Create treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
  • Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, balance activities, mobility training, and functional movement programs
  • Educate patients on treatment goals, home programs, activity modification, and safe progressions
  • Review patient outcomes and update care plans when clinically appropriate
  • Complete documentation in WebPT
  • Partner with PTAs and other clinical staff to support consistent patient care

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
  • Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain Missouri licensure
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work professionally with patients across a broad age range
