About the Role
We are recruiting a Physical Therapist for a full-time outpatient orthopedic position in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is for a PT who enjoys working closely with patients, building practical treatment plans, and helping people improve movement, strength, balance, and daily function.
The clinic treats a broad patient population, from younger patients to older adults, with a primary focus on orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and the clinic offers a team environment where learning and professional growth are supported.

Preferred Schedule Options
The clinic offers flexibility and strongly prefers one of the following schedules:
Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days, Preferred
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Tuesday off each week
Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Clinic Details
- Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
- Weekly Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits
- Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
- EMR System: WebPT
- Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
- Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and identify movement, strength, pain, and functional concerns
- Create individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals
- Provide therapy for orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical recovery, and mobility limitations
- Use therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, strengthening, balance training, and functional movement activities
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, body mechanics, and safe activity progression
- Monitor outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in WebPT
- Work with PTAs and other team members to support consistent patient care
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, patient education, and documentation skills
- Ability to work with patients across a wide age range
