Job Description

We are looking for a Social Media & Content Specialist who understands how to use social media as a practical marketing tool - not just a posting platform. This role is focused on B2C communication to dairy farmers, creating content that is clear, relevant, and grounded in real on-farm challenges. Strong writing is essential -you need to be able to adapt tone, simplify messaging, and write in a way that feels natural and practical for farmers, not corporate or generic.

This is a hands-on role. You will take campaign direction and turn it into clear, practical, farmer‑relevant content then manage how it performs across digital channels. You’ll get to own the quality, clarity, and results of what goes out.  If you enjoy turning complex products and systems into messaging that actually makes sense to “real people”, come talk with us!

Social Media Execution:

  • Plan and schedule content across key markets
  • Build content across formats - single-message posts, carousels, reels, and stories - aligned to campaign purpose
  • Deliver organic content and support campaign rollouts
  • Identify day-to-day content opportunities beyond campaign cycles

Paid Social & Performance:

  • Set up and manage paid social campaigns (targeting, audiences, placements, budgets)
  • Structure campaigns to generate qualified enquiries
  • Monitor performance and optimise content and targeting based on results (Meta Business Suite)
  • Track and report on key metrics - and adjust accordingly

 Lead Generation:

  • Build lead forms and messaging that attract and filter the right audience
  • Work with internal teams to ensure leads are relevant and usable

 Content Creation:

  • Capture photos and create simple, effective video content for social channels
  • Film and edit content suited to social platforms
  • Identify content that can be reused across social campaigns and channels
  • Conduct interviews and turn them into strong testimonials and case studies
  • Create organic (non-paid) content opportunities

  • Hands on experience with Meta Ads Manager
  • Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube
  • Basic performance tracking (CTR, CPL, lead quality)
  • Google Ads (advantageous)
  • CRM or lead management systems (advantageous)
