Job Description
1. Equipment maintenance to ensure technical availability.
- Maintenance: Define, update and implement the maintenance procedure in MAE process landscape, provide the related service to value stream for equipment.
- Technical specification, pre-acceptance, installation, new release, rump-up.
- Modification, retrofitting, overhauling, and relocation together with other functions.
- TPM approach
- Define and continuously improve the TPM approach, promote TPM concept, implement TPM activities, and improve TPM maturity.
- Technical loss: Drive improvement activities in technical loss to increase equipment technical availability.
- Maintenance cost for each cost center.
- According to business requirements, plan maintenance cost for each cost center.
- Planning, regular monitoring and improvement projects.
- Spare parts management to ensure spare parts availability.
- Responsible for JnaP spare parts stock planning.
- Spare parts planning according to business requirement, consumption and spare parts management with IPN benchmarking.
- Define spare parts reorder point and strategy for phase-out spare parts.
- Ensure spare parts available for maintenance and improvement projects.
- Develop spare parts Make or Buy strategy for repairing.
- Ensure the competence for spare parts in-house repair service
2. Drive the connected maintenance and digitalization transformation
- Build up the competence of digitalization and industry 4.0 and enable the MFM organization for connected maintenance and digitalization transformation.
- Digitalize the maintenance process and activities to improve maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive digitalization transformation in present core biz area and actively contribute to MFM digitalization transformation.
- Collaboration with other dept. IPN together for the connected maintenance projects.
3. Develop the MFM organization with respect to
- Customer oriented thinking and active contribution to value stream
- Methodical competence and logic thinking (focus on PDCA, PSS, Sys CIP)
4. Coach and develop future local supervisor and experts in present core maintenance functions.
5. Collaboration with other departments/functions
- Co-work with other departments for improvement projects, to ensure equipment performance and spare parts delivery
- Support on continuous improvements, contribute on system CIP, shop floor CIP and point CIP projects
- Other duties assigned (e.g. CO2 reduction, EHS coordination)
6. Collaboration with BBM-CN maintenance and IPN-maintenance function for regular info exchange, benchmarking activities and service
- Benchmarking the maintenance cost and technical loss to improve efficiency within IPN and BBM-CN
- Info-exchange with external customers for TPM, equipment maintenance topics
- Equipment maintenance service for Bosch other locations, e.g. equipment overhauling, retrofit, relocation and so on.
7. Competence management (CptM)
- Key competence of equipment maintenance, e.g. PHM (Prognostics and Health Management), AI driven Maintenance, Automation & PLC and so on.
- Annually define competence requirements based on JnaP product portfolio and strategy
- Annually assess current competence situation and identify improvement priorities
- Quarterly plan and track competence build-up measures
8. Section management
- Define present core biz maintenance function strategy derived from MFM and value stream strategy workshops
- Section capacity planning and task assignment
- Budget planning and tracking
- Performance assessment, competence and career development of associates with flexibility target fulfilment
- Interview and prepare decisions on candidates for open positions
- Leading the associate survey (BPC) follow-up process in the MFM
- Disciplinary management in MFM
- Shop floor management (5S, EHS, Skill matrix, HR related, etc.) in MFM
Qualifications
- Bachelor or master degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Related technical working experience > 5 years; experience in leadership positions > 3 years
- Methodological and structured working style; strong coaching skills
- Intercultural competence and structured communication skills
- Technical background (Equipment construction preferred)
- Management and Leadership skills
- Team management skills/ experience (team size ~20 people)
- Logic thinking
- Systematic problem-solving approach
- Lean process management, BPS application
- Financial knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Inter-culture skill
- Fluent English both in speaking and writing, German is preferred
