About the Project

Hello! We are looking for detail-oriented and responsible annotators for a video description project.

🎯 Project Essence: The task involves watching videos of people performing various everyday actions with their hands and creating captions (subtitles) that accurately describe those actions. Each distinct action should be documented in a separate caption according to strict guidelines. A detailed instruction manual and reference videos will be provided.

To get onboarded and start earning, you will need to go through the following 4 steps:

1. ✍️ Fill out this Questionnaire: Complete the personal details and technical compliance section. We'll contact you ASAP after that. 

2. 📝 Pass the Practical Assessment: Complete the typing test and annotate the 3 sample videos.

3. 📊 Evaluation & Results: Our team will review your submissions and assess your accuracy.

4. 🚀 Project Launch Email: If approved, you will receive a confirmation email with detailed project guidelines, video manuals, and your personal login credentials to access the production platform.

Two meticulously annotated tasks completed in full compliance with the project guidelines and instructions.

Two high-quality screen recordings demonstrating the annotation process for each completed task.

• 📹 Screen Recording: To receive payment, you must provide high-quality screen recordings of your continuous work process for two tasks. (Note: Based on our pilot project results, the task duration typically ranges from 44 minutes to 2 hours, making it entirely feasible to complete the project within this timeframe).

• 📊 Activity Tracking: Please note that the client's platform automatically tracks active and inactive time (when the annotator is actively working, watching the video, or typing captions).

• 🤖 No AI Tools: During screen recording, you are STRICTLY PROHIBITED from using any third-party tools that generate, edit, or otherwise manipulate text (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, translation extensions, etc.). You are only allowed to switch tabs to check the official project instructions.

• 📝 Skill Assessment: This form includes a practical video annotation test and a typing speed check to evaluate your compliance with the guidelines.
