The Housekeeper plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall appearance of the community. This position is primarily responsible for common areas and amenity spaces and supports apartment cleaning during unit turns and move-in periods.

  • Maintain cleanliness of office space, amenity space, and all additional common areas as directed.
  • Clean and sanitize all common area bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, toilets, and fixtures.
  • Vacuum carpeted areas and mop tile or hard surface flooring where applicable.
  • Spot clean walls, windows, doors, and high-touch surfaces in common areas.
  • Dust furniture and surfaces; empty trash receptacles.
  • Clean baseboards, framed items, light fixtures, and HVAC vents as needed.
  • Assist with trash pickup and grounds cleanliness throughout the week.
  • Clean vacant apartment units as needed, ensuring units are move-in ready.
  • Maintain proper utility settings in vacant units per community standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
  • Report service requests, safety concerns, or community concerns to management promptly.
  • Perform additional housekeeping or operational tasks as assigned to support efficient and effective community operations.
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment through respectful and effective communication with team members, residents, vendors, and management.
  • Participate in weekly on-call duties when required.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of professional housekeeping experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling (up to 25 lbs.).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays as needed.
  • Ability to complete all assigned tasks safely and effectively in accordance with OSHA standards and community expectations.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment aligned with LV Collective Management values.
