Cloud Solution Architect

About the project

We are seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and establishing comprehensive technology standards and enterprise information systems.

You will drive our client's global technology roadmap forward while partnering with both business and technical units to assess requirements, choose the right tools, and ensure successful deployments.

Additionally, your focus will be on governing Microsoft Azure services - including cloud infrastructure, Microsoft Entra ID management, and advanced Azure AI features - while acting as the architectural lead for Microsoft 365 solutions like Power Platform and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional IT teams to map business requirements into robust, scalable technical architectures.

• Architect, document, and oversee global cloud guidelines, ensuring top-tier performance, security, compliance, and maintainability.

• Serve as the core architect for our client's Microsoft ecosystem, specifically focusing on Microsoft Azure (infrastructure, Entra ID) and Microsoft 365 solutions (SharePoint, Power Platform).

• Craft and continuously update a long-term technology strategy centered around Microsoft Cloud innovation.

• Deliver architectural consulting, design blueprints, and hands-on guidance for international cloud and infrastructure deployments.

• Champion AI solution engineering and benchmark next-gen tech to automate and optimize core business operations.

• Review, streamline, and upgrade existing infrastructure to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and future scalability.

• Act as the ultimate Microsoft Cloud expert by delivering technical training, leading presentations, and providing high-level support for complex requests or incidents.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional IT background, with a proven track record working as an Infrastructure Engineer or IT Architect.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience operating specifically as a Cloud Architect, including practical leadership in large-scale infrastructure transformations and Azure cloud migrations.

• Strong, hands-on experience deploying, managing, and maintaining the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem, with deep familiarity in Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure AI, and Copilot.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

• Comprehensive understanding of legacy on-premises setups, including physical servers, networking, and end-user computing setups.

• Prior experience with other public cloud ecosystems (such as AWS) would be a distinct advantage.

• General knowledge of ITIL methodologies (an ITIL Foundation certificate is a plus).
