Position: DMAS - Network Architect 4 (800213)

Location : Richmond VA

Interview : Web Cam Interview Only

3 days ON SITE each week required! Parking is NOT provided for contractors. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Scope of work: Plan, design, and configure LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks. Ensure network architecture meets organizational security and performance requirements. Monitor network performance using tools and dashboards. Maintain network documentation (topology diagrams, IP address schemes, configurations). Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues. Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for escalated network problems. Collaborate with helpdesk and system administrators for cross-functional issues. Analyze network traffic and usage trends.

Recommend upgrades or changes to improve performance and scalability. Plan for future growth and emerging technologies. Develop and maintain network disaster recovery plans. Ensure redundancy and failover mechanisms are in place. Maintain accurate records of network configurations and changes. Prepare reports on network health, incidents, and performance metrics.
