Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE:
Provide technical expertise to support commercialization of new footwear products—from RFC through RFP and into production—aligned with the RWSC Go-to-Market process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead commercialization for USA-made and sourced upper products across RWSC manufacturing facilities.
- Plan, build, and execute pre-production trials; approve production readiness.
- Conduct fit, wear, and testing trials for sourced uppers; build mold and confirmation samples.
- Develop and deliver training for manufacturing teams on product requirements, purpose, and assembly methods.
- Document technical processes to ensure consistency, quality, and repeatability.
- Review and approve final production tickets.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Development, and Manufacturing to ensure timely product launches and updates.
- Provide technical support for tooling, equipment, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of training and best practices.
- Support sourcing and qualification of third-party vendors and equipment.
- Participate in cross-functional product meetings and complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: 7 - 10 years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
