Role Summary
We are looking for a junior Quant Trade Support team member to support the monitoring of quantitative trading strategies and order execution workflows in a 24x5 shift environment.
This role will focus on monitoring live trading activity to ensure orders are generated correctly by the strategies and handled properly by execution systems and brokers. The role will also support post-trade review, issue follow-up, and the development of simple support and monitoring tools to improve operational efficiency.
The successful candidate should be well organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided, so this role is suitable for candidates with a strong technical or analytical foundation who are interested in trading operations and quantitative systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live quantitative trading strategies in a 24x5 shift rotation.
- Check that orders are generated correctly and handled properly by execution systems and brokers.
- Identify and escalate trading or system issues in a timely manner.
- Support post-trade review and follow-up actions with the manager.
- Help maintain monitoring procedures, logs, and support documentation.
- Assist in analyzing issues and trading behavior.
- Develop and maintain simple support tools, scripts, and monitoring utilities to help streamline operations.
- Work closely with the strategy development team to understand the behavior and trading style of different strategies.
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a 24x5 shift-based environment.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Interest in quantitative trading, trading operations, or electronic trading support.
