We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Growth Director, focusing on driving growth via our Google enterprise partnership. In this role, the Director of Growth, Google Partnership is responsible for maximizing the strategic and financial value of DEPT’s relationship with Google. This leader will oversee compliance with Google incentive programs, drive adoption of Google Marketing Platform (GMP) solutions, and partner across teams to unlock revenue growth, operational efficiency, and value.
The role serves as the primary internal owner of the Google partnership, acting as a strategic liaison between Google and executive stakeholders while ensuring the organization captures all available incentives, certifications, product benefits, and growth opportunities.
THE ROLE:
As part of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through unlocks with our Google partnership. Success in this role requires a commercially driven mindset, the ability to quickly build trust with senior executives, and a strategic approach to navigating partner ecosystems to create and accelerate the pipeline. A broad understanding of the entire agency sales funnel is important in this role, though primarily the role will be judged on bottom funnel performance, that is to say close rates and sales revenue generation.
You must be able to quickly build trust and rapport, ask the right questions, and bring a strategic approach to selling agency solutions. An entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action and problem-solving is necessary to be successful in this role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Own and manage the organization's strategic relationship with Google.
- Develop annual partnership plans aligned to company growth objectives.
- Identify opportunities to expand collaboration, joint business planning, co-marketing initiatives, and innovation programs.
- Track partnership KPIs and communicate performance, opportunities, and risks to executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all Google incentive programs, requirements, certifications, and reporting obligations.
- Monitor program changes and proactively adjust internal processes to maintain eligibility and maximize benefits.
- Forecast, track, and optimize incentive earnings across all applicable programs.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and Client Partner teams to validate performance metrics and claims.
- Serve as executive sponsor for GMP adoption, utilization, and optimization.
- Ensure teams are effectively leveraging GMP products and capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, campaign effectiveness, and reporting through platform enhancements.
- Coordinate training, enablement, and certification initiatives across relevant teams.
- Partner with product and operations leaders to establish GMP best practices and standards.
- Identify new Google products, capabilities, and programs that create competitive advantage.
- Champion innovation initiatives that improve client outcomes and organizational performance.
- Support business development efforts through partnership-driven opportunities and thought leadership.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, media, partnerships, analytics, marketing technology, or related fields.
- Deep knowledge of Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, and Google's partner ecosystem.
- Experience managing strategic technology or platform partnerships.
- Strong understanding of marketing measurement, attribution, MMM, and performance analytics.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Experience managing complex programs with measurable business outcomes.
Preferred
- Experience within a media agency, marketing services organization, consultancy, or large in-house marketing team.
- Familiarity with Google's incentive and partner programs.
- Experience implementing or overseeing MMM solutions.
- Knowledge of privacy regulations, first-party data strategies, and evolving measurement frameworks.
- Advanced analytics, data strategy, or marketing technology expertise.

The anticipated salary range for this position is listed below. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we’re flexible.
