Job Summary

A PT-owned orthopedic outpatient clinic in Boca Raton, FL is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient care in a focused, professional setting. This role is ideal for a PTA who enjoys helping patients carry out treatment plans, improve movement, and make progress toward daily function.

You will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and assist patients through therapeutic exercise, functional training, and hands-on treatment.

Position Details

Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Office
Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour
Schedule: Flexible — 4-day work schedule or Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities
• Assist with mobility, strength, balance, and movement training
• Monitor patient response during treatment sessions
• Report progress, concerns, or changes to the supervising PT
• Educate patients on proper exercise form and home program follow-through
• Document treatment sessions clearly and on time
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinic space

Requirements

• Active Florida PTA License
• Physical Therapist Assistant Degree
• Outpatient experience preferred
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Good communication and patient interaction skills
• Interest in orthopedic outpatient care
