Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Event Sales Manager to join our team at  ZSL London Zoo!

Location: ZSL London Zoo, London (with regular presence across our venue portfolio)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive

About the Event Sales Manager role:

  • Driving event sales and achieving revenue targets across Benugo's portfolio of venues.
  • Building new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and relationship management.
  • Managing enquiries from initial contact through to contract, creating tailored proposals and quotations.
  • Conducting venue show-rounds, client meetings, and tastings to secure new business.
  • Maintaining an active sales pipeline and ensuring accurate CRM records and reporting.
  • Working closely with Event Planning, Operations, and venue teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and maximise revenue.
  • Representing Events by Benugo at industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

About the ideal candidate:

We're looking for someone who is highly motivated, commercially minded, and passionate about hospitality and events.

You will have:

  • A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets within events, hospitality, catering, venue sales, or agency environments.
  • Strong business development and relationship-building experience.
  • Experience creating high-quality sales proposals, presentations, and client pitches.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of event profitability.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM systems, ideally Tripleseat.
  • A proactive, resilient, and self-motivated approach.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive sales environment.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, events, food, and delivering outstanding client experiences.
