About This Role:
As our Quality Electrical QC Lead in Tulsa, you will be a critical contributor to the quality assurance of our switchgear products. You will be responsible for developing and implementing electrical inspection and testing procedures throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, from component verification to final assembly testing. Your deep understanding of electrical systems, testing methodologies, and quality control principles will be essential in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our switchboard. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, coupled with a solid background in electrical manufacturing and quality control. You will work closely with engineering and production to uphold our stringent quality standards within the Tulsa operations. This is a full-time position where your expertise will directly impact the quality and efficiency of our critical power infrastructure.
What You’ll Be Working On:
Electrical Component and Subassembly Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming electrical components, wiring harnesses, and subassemblies to verify conformance with engineering drawings, electrical schematics, material specifications, and quality standards.
In-Process Electrical Quality Checks: Implement and perform electrical quality checks at various stages of the switchboard assembly process to identify and address any potential issues early in production.
Interpretation of Electrical Drawings and Schematics: Accurately interpret and apply electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications during inspection and testing activities.
Non-Conformance Management (Electrical): Accurately document any electrical non-conformances identified during inspection or testing, initiate root cause analysis, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Quality Standards and Procedures (Electrical Focus): Contribute to the development and maintenance of quality standards and inspection procedures specific to electrical components, wiring, and switchboard assemblies within the Tulsa facility. Ensure adherence to these standards by production personnel.
Cross-Functional Collaboration (Electrical): Work closely with electrical engineering, manufacturing, and the quality assurance team to resolve electrical quality issues, provide feedback on design for manufacturability and testability, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Other Duties: Undertake other quality-related tasks and projects as assigned to support overall operational efficiency and quality objectives within the Tulsa switchboard manufacturing operations and other duties as deemed necessary.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Education: Minimum High School graduate or GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field is preferred, and equivalent field experience will be considered.
Experience: Minimum of five years’ experience in electrical quality control or electrical testing within a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in switchboard or similar electrical power equipment.
Electrical Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical principles, components, wiring practices, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA).
Electrical Testing Proficiency: Hands-on experience with various electrical testing equipment and methodologies.
Technical Proficiency (Electrical): Demonstrated ability to interpret and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
Problem-Solving Skills (Electrical): Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve electrical quality issues.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical personnel.
Computer Skills: Proficient in basic computer applications, including experience with Google Suite (mail, drive, docs, sheets) and Microsoft (Word and Excel), for documentation and data analysis.
Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and is located within a safety-sensitive facility. Active drug and alcohol program participation is required. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.

Compensation:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $35 - $40/HR + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
