Mission Statement

The Senior Referent mission is twofold: to execute the most complex operational checks and to act as a "Ground Truth" auditor. The Senior Referents bridge the gap between high-level strategy and floor-level reality, ensuring that our automated systems and human processes are constantly refined based on real-world fraud patterns.

1. Operational Mastery & Benchmarking

• Expert Execution: Maintain "Battle-Ready" proficiency by executing live MRApp checks (allocated 1 to 1.5 days per week). Senior Referents are the internal gold standard for speed and accuracy.

• BPO Benchmarking: Use your production time to establish performance benchmarks. Senior Referents define what "attainable excellence" looks like, providing a realistic mirror to evaluate BPO performance.

• SOP Validation: Act as the first "stress-tester" for new Standard Operating Procedures. If a process is unrealistic or creates friction on the floor, you are responsible for flagging it before it is scaled.

2. Excellence Oversight & Intelligence

• High-Stakes Auditing: Conduct deep-dive audits on high-risk cases and "Ground Truth" labeling. Senior Referents give the final word on accuracy and system integrity.

• Fraud Pattern Sensing: Identify "weak signals" and emerging fraud trends that automated systems might miss.

• Labeling for Data Science: Provide high-quality labeled datasets to the Data Science team to train and refine our machine-learning models.

• Database contributor: Participation in the development of the template database by creating templates and editing features.

3. Cross-Functional Strategic Support

• Ops-Tech Feedback Loop: Translate audit findings into technical requirements to improve automated detection logic.

• Project Support: Participate in "Task Force" squads for new market entries or tool migrations (e.g., odash, new fraud products), ensuring technical nuances are captured.

• Training Calibration: Assist Training Managers in assessing the relevance and complexity of encountered fraud cases.
